Dawit Feleke Woldemariam’s career path at the Ethiopian Investment Commission (EIC) exemplifies dedication to fostering economic growth. Dawit’s journey began as a young professional, culminating in a leadership role as Chief of Staff within the Industrial Parks Division. During this time, Dawit championed investment promotion within Industrial Parks and championed essential investment facilitation and aftercare services.
Dawit’s expertise extends to policy development. He was a key member of the national taskforce that revised Ethiopia’s Investment Proclamation (1180/2020), shaping the legal framework for attracting investment. Dawit also played a leading role in drafting the Ethiopian Investment Board’s Directive on “Industrial Park designation and allocation of Land within Industrial Parks.”
Dawit’s commitment to empowering the next generation extends beyond his impressive professional accomplishments. As a Rejoice Africa alumnus and current Board Member, Dawit leverages his experience and expertise to support the organization’s mission of cultivating well-rounded young leaders across Ethiopia.
My name is Yeabsra Terefe, and Rejoice Africa isn’t just an organization for me, it’s a story of growth and empowerment.I joined as a young student, back in 8th grade, brimming with a desire to serve and lead my fellow high schoolers.However, my understanding of myself and true leadership was limited.
That’s where Rejoice Africa stepped in. The personal development trainings I received were transformative. They weren’t just lectures; they were journeys of self-discovery. Through them, I gained a deeper understanding of who I am, my strengths, and the areas where I could blossom.
Today, I wear two hats. I’m a Teacher, applying my skills and knowledge in the professional world. But more importantly, I’m part of the Rejoice Africa executive team. Here, I work alongside a passionate group who share my commitment to personal growth and building a stronger community.
The opportunities and support I received from Rejoice Africa have shaped me into who I am today. Now, it’s my turn to pay it forward. As a coach and trainer, I’m dedicated to inspiring and empowering others to unlock their full potential, just like Rejoice Africa empowered me.
